Author, actor and founder of The Boulevard Zen Foundation, Rich is currently teaching Yoga and producing his new LA-based web series, Stay Zen. His film, Boulevard Zen (2009), inspires everyone to embrace the principles of Yoga and was the inspiration for his charity.
Rich received his undergraduate degree from The University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and his MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg). He previously sold Junk Bonds on Wall Street and commercial real estate in New York City, founded the first-of-its-kind Internet company in the height of the Dot-com boom (selling The General Motors Building for The Trump Organization) and was an award-winning real estate developer of Historic Landmark properties in inner-city neighborhoods.
Passionate about fitness his entire life, Rich has taught Yoga to more than 15,000 students since becoming a teacher in 2006. His LA-based shingle, Two Strike Hitter, produced his film and more than 15 hours of instructional fitness videos including his Yoga Survival Guide (DVD), 15 Minute Fat Burning Workouts (DVD), and his 5 Minute Fat Burning Workouts: 100 Workouts in 100 Days on YouTube and Vimeo.
His heartfelt memoir, Simply Between Millions: From Wall Street to Hollywood, is “witty and wildly entertaining” and was published in 2012 (click HERE to preview on Amazon.com). The audio book, produced and narrated by Rich Tola, was released on Audible.com in 2013.
